A study co-produced by UNPFII Indigenous Media Caucus, Cultural Survival, and WACC investigates whether this goal is being met for Indigenous Peoples.

The "Reconciling Ways of Knowing Series, Dialogue 3: Braiding Ways of Knowing" featured Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer, author of *Braiding Sweetgrass*, in conversation with Dr. Nancy Turner. They explored how Indigenous and scientific ways of knowing can be integrated, drawing from Dr. Kimmerer's work on traditional ecological knowledge and moss ecology.

Project founders Miles Richardson, Dr. David Suzuki, and Elder Dr. Dave Courchene, Jr. joined the discussion. They connected Dr. Kimmerer's insights to the project's objective: building better relationships across diverse knowledge systems and achieving improved stewardship outcomes.

Gregory Gorman, Conservation Chair for the New Jersey Sierra Club, discusses the Green New Deal and its specific impact on New Jersey. His TED Countdown talk focuses on climate change action, emphasizing infrastructure and cost parity.

Gorman brings extensive experience, volunteering with the NJ Sierra Club since 2009 and serving as Conservation Chair since 2014. He is a graduate of Al Gore's Climate Reality Leadership Training and actively advocates for a clean energy economy with DivestNJ and EmpowerNJ. He also had a distinguished 37-year career as a U.S. Army Contracting Officer.
