Each panel will focus on unique topics chosen by the Earth Guardians' Youth Council featuring industry specialists. Learn about hemp history, environmental benefits, justice & equity, daily uses, substitutions, and more! -------- APRIL WEBINAR THE POWER OF THE PLANT:  HEMP AS AN ECO-SOLUTION TO CLIMATE CHANGE An engaging and timely discussion on how turning to Hemp –one of the Earth’s most abundant and powerful resources --is the key to moving toward actionable solutions and viable innovations to the current climate crisis—from agriculture to infrastructure, social justice to medicine, textiles to biotech. Hemp is a foundational resource that can provide hope and change at a time when we need it most. ALICIA FALL: Founder, Her Many Voices Foundation (HMVF). HVMFs Hemp Project is a global initiative that provides community education, enriches the soil for the next crop rotation, builds safe, sanitary toilets, homes and schools, provides nutrient rich food such as seeds and flour, produce textile fibers for production of paper, clothing and rope​ and provide valuable medicine all utilizing Hemp. SHADI RAMEY. Hemp Chef and Author, Hemp Can Change the World. Shadi Ramey discovered her passion for food at an early age growing up in a first-generation Persian household where the act of preparing food was always slow and intuitive. Shadi started growing hemp on her small, organic micro-farm north of Boulder in 2015. Her work with hemp food includes all edible parts of the plant: the leaves, flower, hemp seeds and hemp seed oil.
