The FAO's Regional Technical Platform for Family Farming is advancing its Cycle of Technical Exchanges. This initiative fosters dialogue, cooperation, and learning to strengthen the family farming sector, aligning with the UN Decade of Family Farming (2019-2028).

Following previous discussions on family farming registries and public procurement, the latest edition addresses the inclusion and participation of rural youth. Its first session, "Digital technologies for rural youth," explored opportunities and challenges in leveraging technology to boost productivity and improve access to information, financing, and networks. This session was co-organized with REAF Mercosur and the World Food Forum youth initiative.
