The Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture, in partnership with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and funded by Canada, has launched a virtual training program for farmers across Lebanon. This initiative supports the agricultural sector's resilience amid current challenges.

The program aims to strengthen apple and vegetable value chains, prepare farmers for the upcoming season, and integrate gender and protection. Originally planned in-person, the training shifted online via WhatsApp and interactive Q&A for continuity, safety, and broad reach.
